ORRIDO DI PONTE ALTO E CASTELLO DEL BUONCONSIGLIO DI TRENTO

Oltre alla sua bellezza naturale l’Orrido di Ponte Alto, ha un importante valore storico. Nel 1500 per scongiurare le alluvioni in citta’ sono state costruite alcune delle opere idrauliche piu’ antiche del mondo che hanno dato vita a due spettacolari cascate di oltre 40 metri. Il castello del Buon Consiglio e’ il piu’ importante complesso monumentale della regione e riflette nella sua forma architettonica e nelle sue decorazioni la storia dei principi vescovi di Trento.
