Budapest, capitale dell’Ungheria, soprannominata la “Parigi dell’Est”, viene considerata la perla del Danubio sia per i suoi tesori artistici che, per i paesaggi presenti lungo il fiume che l’attraversa. Sulla riva occidentale sorgono le bellissime colline di Buda, la zona più residenziale ed elegante, mentre il distretto di Pest, più commerciale, indica l’inizio della Grande Pianura verso est e rappresenta il cuore amministrativo della capitale.
